FAYTA’s Work Report for June 2025

Dear friends, we are pleased to share with you details about the activities of the FAYTA Veterans’ Center in Mykolaiv in June 2025.

But first, let us remind you that FAYTA is a space created for veterans, their families and the families of the fallen, as well as volunteers and the patriotic community of the Mykolaiv region.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to veterans and their families by creating a space to support their physical, psychological, and social well-being, making their path to recovery and reintegration as comfortable and effective as possible.

So, June turned out to be an eventful month for us, mostly internally. During this month, we held 23 events within the walls of FAYTA (and sometimes outdoors outside the Center), which 293 people attended. We also hosted one guest event: a meeting for the wives of fallen heroes, which 11 women attended.

Our events included regular meetings of our book club “Reading Headquarters,” a support group for military wives, and yoga training with well-known trainers, as well as interesting cultural events:

  • a master class on painting shopping bags “Vyshyvanka — a talisman of fate”
  • a master class on embroidery “Tree of Life”
Clay jewelry — a sacred meeting in nature
  • Family Day: a holiday for defenders and their families at the racetrack
  • A master class on coffee painting

As well as events for the psychosocial adaptation of our target audience:

  • Seminar “How to be there. Support after captivity” for families of captives
  • “We are all waiting” — a resource meeting for the wives of defenders
  • Equine therapy for the wives of defenders
  • A course on first aid providing to children
  • Seminar “First psychological aid: how to support yourself and others”
  • Meeting of ATO veterans

FAYTA functions not only to implement our team’s initiatives. We strive to unite and strengthen other projects created by veterans and for veterans, and offer them the opportunity to use the Center for organizing initiatives in various areas: from artistic, cultural, and educational projects to volunteering and civic activism.

We provide an opportunity to come and work on your project or idea alone or with a team, or to hold an event (seminar, workshop, presentation, book club) for an audience.

FAYTA continues to expand its activities, so even more interesting events, activities, and meetings await us in the future.

See you at FAYTA!
