The team of the “Hero of Ukraine” charitable foundation together with the team of the NGO “Association of ATO Participants and Disabled Persons” continues to implement the project “My dad returned from the war”. This is a comic book that explains the peculiarities of communication with a father who has returned from the war, helps to understand his psychological state and will contribute to his integration into society. In September 2023, the following work was carried out:
- Continuation of the marketing and advertising campaign aimed at highlighting the project and the problems of veterans and military personnel who find it difficult to adapt to civilian life;
- Launch of the Web Quest, after completion of which – children of military personnel and veterans will receive gifts;
- Processing of Web Quest results, formation of lists for sending gifts to project participants;
- Sending 1,300 gifts to military children who completed the Web Quest based on the history of the comic (project participants);
- Participation in Kyivbookfest as part of the project My Dad Came Back from the War and took part in the panel discussion Heroes on Heroes: How veteran publishing houses do business and preserve the memory of the war.
The project is financed by the Ukrainian Veterans’ Fund and the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs, implemented by the NGO “Association of ATO Participants and Disabled Persons” in fruitful cooperation with the Hero of Ukraine Foundation
