Report of the Hero of Ukraine Charitable Foundation for July-August 2025

Hello, friends!

Summer is over, and we are happy to report on our work in July and August.

We started July with a balance of 120,379.53 UAH.

Over these two months, we raised 532,790.07 UAH together with you.

Thanks to this, we were able to support both the Birds of Fury unit, which is currently operating on the eastern front, and the Fayta Veterans Center in Mykolaiv. After all, those who defend our homeland, their families, and the families of fallen heroes and prisoners of war all need help.

In particular, to support the Birds of Fury unit, we:

  • Performed repair and maintenance of 2 vehicles for the military

A Volkswagen Transporter T5 for the Backfire UAV crew and a Jeep Grand Cherokee for a total of 64,571.50 UAH, which will ensure the safety and mobility of the guys and girls on the front lines.

  • Purchased fuel for the military

for 106,094.76 UAH, as the units also use their own and volunteer vehicles without receiving fuel from the military divisions.

  • Paid for the rental and adaptation of safe premises in the frontline zone

for maintenance and repair of UAVs by the unit (minor repairs, racks, equipment, inventory, etc.) in the amount of UAH 35,371.5.

  • Purchased accessories, materials, and components for UAVs:

including radio equipment worth 42,045.13 UAH.

  • Paid for communication services

in particular, mobile Starlink for cars and Internet for military premises in the amount of 23,629.75 UAH.

We would appreciate anyone who continues to participate in our fundraiser to support our defenders.

Over the past two months, we had a lot of work to do at the Fayta Veterans Center in Mykolaiv:

  • 26 events were held at the Fayta

which were attended by 245 people (mutual support groups for veteran’s wives, yoga, resource meetings with a psychologist for defenders’ wives, sound meditation (sound therapy) practice, book club, training in stopping critical bleeding)

  • 3 events outside of the Fayta

which were attended by 142 people (photo exhibition and film presentation for the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, participation in the campaign “I Honor Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine,” participation in the campaign “Table of Remembrance”)

  • Our case managers provided consultations to 24 individuals

including 14 veterans and 10 family members of veterans

  • Four guest events were held at Fayta

For 28 visitors: tactical medicine courses, a meeting with ATO veterans, a master class on board games, and a lecture on the dangers of smoking.

We will be grateful to everyone who continues to contribute to our fundraiser to support our defenders and their families.

Balance at the end of August: 124,469.37 UAH.
