What is FAYTA
FAYTA is a space created for veterans, their families, and the families of fallen heroes.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to veterans and their families by creating a space to support their
physical, psychological, and social well-being, making their path to recovery and reintegration as comfortable and effective as possible.
We Are Here to Help You
If you are a veteran, a member of their families or families of fallen hroes, prisoners of war, or missing defenders, you can receive informational consultation from us.
If you need psychological or legal consultation, we will be happy to refer you to our partner organizations that will help you resolve your issues.
At FAYTA, everyone has the opportunity to join mutual support groups, leisure and educational activities, volunteer activities in our city, receive psychosocial support, and satisfy their need for communication and support in a peer-to-peer format.
What Do We Do?
Our activities include regular meetings of the book club “Reader’s Headquarters” and other educational and cultural events for our target audience.
These include various master classes: embroidery, painting, pottery, etc. We also offer yoga, art therapy, and equine therapy classes.
In addition, we provide the opportunity to hold guest events for our target audience at FAYTA: lectures, presentations, and other educational and cultural projects.
In the three months since the Center began operating, we have held 43 important events, bringing together 235 people at FAITA.
What Do We Fundraise For?
The work of the Center requires ongoing expenses, and increasing activities for a wider range of people means we need more and more funding. Specifically, for:
- Renting premises;
- Salaries for Center staff (case managers, project managers, cleaning staff);
- Paying for the services of trainers, masters, and instructors who conduct events;
- Purchasing materials for creative workshops and master classes;
- Paying for the services of a psychologist and lawyers to provide consultations to representatives of target audiences.
Our monthly funding requirement is approximately UAH 70,000.
Therefore, your help is very important to us in ensuring the smooth operation of support for veterans and their families. Every hryvnia you donate to this project is a sign of unity, solidarity, and gratitude to those who defend Ukraine and their loved ones.
