Today, we will tell you about the film Silence in Which You Can Hear Life, dedicated to the wives and families of fallen heroes.
This project was timed to coincide with the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine, and the film premiered during the photo exhibition Defiant Hearts in Mykolaiv on August 28.
This documentary is about women who lost their husbands on the front lines.
They openly share what their love was like before the war, how their lives changed after their loss, how they overcame their grief, and where they find the strength to live on today.
We hear not only stories of loss, but also voices of love, memory, and strength. These are stories about the daily struggle for children, family, and the memory of husbands — our heroes.
This film is not about the end. It is the journey of a woman who survived. About the pain that taught her to hold on. And about life that continues even in the deepest silence.
The film was produced with the support of the Women Defenders of Ukraine NGO and the Hero of Ukraine Charitable Foundation.
