Dear friends!
The last month of 2025 has passed. It was filled with interesting events and fruitful work, so it’s time for us to show and tell you what we did in December at FAYTA.
But before we tell you about what happened at the end of winter, let us remind you that FAYTA is a space created for veterans, their families, and the families of fallen heroes, as well as volunteers and the patriotic community of the Mykolaiv region.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support to veterans, and their families by creating a space to support their physical, psychological, and social well-being, making their path to recovery and reintegration as comfortable and effective as possible.

Of course, we didn’t have any outdoor events in winter, so we tried to hold more events in our cozy, warm premises or in friendly establishments that invite us to host master classes or other interesting activities.
This month, we held 23 events at FAYTA, which were attended by 64 people. We also hosted one guest event, which was attended by six people: art therapy for policewomen and wives of police officers from the frontline zone (Kherson).
We also participated in organizing five events, which were attended by over 90 people: a theater visit, a culinary master class for children of defenders, and a “New Year’s Fun Concert.”
Our events included regular meetings of our book club “Reading Headquarters,” a mutual aid group for military wives, and yoga training with well-known trainers, as well as interesting cultural events:
- A resource meeting with a psychologist for the wives of defenders
- Equine therapy
- Master classes, etc.
Work continues to help veterans and their families, so:
- Our case managers provided 12 consultations (6 for veterans and 6 for members of veterans’ families);
- Provided 5 legal consultations to representatives of our target audience
We would especially like to highlight one of the most heartwarming events of this month — the photo project “Photo Day for Mom and Child.” Families of defenders had the opportunity to take part in a magical Christmas photo shoot and receive enchanting photos of moms with their children.
FAYTA does not only serve to implement our team’s initiatives. We strive to unite and strengthen other projects created by veterans and for veterans, and offer them the opportunity to use the Center to organize initiatives in various fields: from artistic, cultural, and educational projects to volunteering and civic activism.
We provide an opportunity to come and work on your project or idea alone or with a team, or to hold an event (seminar, workshop, presentation, book club) for an audience.
FAYTA continues to expand its activities, so there are even more interesting events, activities, and meetings ahead of us.
See you at FAYTA!
