Dear friends!
December has passed, and another year of war and resilience has come to an end. We will return to the annual report later, where we will show you how many good deeds we have been able to accomplish together over the past year. For now, let’s take a closer look at December.
We started the month with a balance of 210,970.82 UAH.
During December, we raised 233,499.67 UAH together with you.
Thanks to this, we were able to support both the Birds of Fury unit, which is currently operating in the eastern direction, and the “Fayta” Veterans Center in Mykolaiv. After all, those who defend our homeland, their families, and the families of fallen heroes and prisoners of war all need help.
In particular, to support the Birds of Fury unit, we:
Repaired and serviced three vehicles for the military
Combat buses were repaired, namely, the oil radiator was replaced and a lot of work was done on the chassis and maintenance. We purchased two hydraulic jacks, two fire extinguishers, and a tow rope for a total of 51,947 UAH.
Paid for the rental and modification of secure premises for the unit in the frontline zone
for maintenance and repair of UAVs (minor repairs, racks, equipment, inventory, etc.) in the amount of UAH 33,630.65.
Purchased spare parts for the Backfire UAV:
Purchased spare parts for the Backfire UAV, including a parachute release lock, for a total of 9,000 UAH..
Paid for Starlinks’ work
for uninterrupted combat operations and connection, in the amount of UAH 12,589.81.
We would like to thank everyone who continues to join our fundraisers to support our defenders.
In December, a lot of work was done at the “Fayta” Veterans Center in Mykolaiv:
We held 23 events in Fayta
which were attended by 64 people (mutual support groups for veterans’ wives, yoga, reading club, equine therapy and master classes, resource meeting with a psychologist, and conversational English club for children). We also hosted one guest event, which was attended by 6 people: art therapy for policewomen and wives of police officers from the frontline zone (Kherson).
We also participated in organizing five events outside our Center
which were attended by more than 90 people: a visit to the theater, a cooking master class for children, and a “New Year’s Fun Concert.” A special event was the magnificent photo project “Photo Day for Mom and Child,” in which mothers and their kids had the amazing chance to take incredibly beautiful Christmas photos together.
Our case managers provided consultations to 12 individuals, and lawyers to 5
