Dear friends, we would like to tell you about an important project, namely the photo exhibition “Defiant Hearts,” which opened today in the city of Mykolaiv.
The exhibition was organized by the public organization “Women of Ukraine” with the support and assistance of the Charitable Foundation “Hero of Ukraine.” This event is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance for the Ukrainian Defenders.
About 30 families of deceased servicemen provided portraits, photos, and personal belongings of their fallen heroes, their husbands and sons.
This is not just an exhibition of touching photographs, but stories of people who fought for our freedom. Fragments of their past, precious memories for their families, relatives, and loved ones.
They agreed to present photographs of fallen defenders at the exhibition, to share with us their pain and their bright memories of those they loved and will love forever.
The exhibition also presented the documentary film “Silence in Which You Can Hear Life,” featuring the mothers and wives of many fallen heroes.
This film is about women who lost their husbands at the front. They openly share what their love was like before the war, how their lives changed after the loss, how they overcame their grief, and how they overcame their grief.
Many caring people have already come to honor the memory of those who gave their lives defending the country.
You can join them at the exhibition and express your support and respect until 5 p.m. on August 30 at the following address: Navy Officers’ House, 7 Artilleriiska Street, Mykolaiv. The exhibition is located in a shelter.
