Tactical medicine courses

The organization and conducting of pre-medical training and tactical medicine courses in Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv region for workers of enterprises and organizations, state structures, local residents, schoolchildren, military personnel units, military units is one of the important areas of work of the Hero of Ukraine Charitable Foundation.

The project is designed for long-term existence. The problem is that the Russian Federation does not care where their shells and missiles hit. The civilian population and the military do not always know what to do in case of injury.

The lecture course is developed according to the MARCH algorithm and is taught in such a way that after completing the training, civilians and military personnel who are not specialists in the medical field will receive basic knowledge, namely:

  • recognition of massive bleeding and its stopping with the help of a tourniquet;
  • other types of bleeding and methods of their regulation;
  • wound tamponade and applying bandages;
  • training of the basic steps in providing first aid:
    • checking and unblocking the airways,
    • breathing test,
    • maintenance of human body temperature, etc.;
  • chest injury;
  • putting a person in a safe position;
  • first aid kit (what should be included in the first aid kit, where it should be located and how to use it).

Upon completion of the entire course of practical classes, each participant receives a certificate.

Our courses focus on acquiring skills that can save lives in critical moments. They cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of first aid to evacuation tactics and protection in military settings. Our instructors are experienced specialists who are ready to pass on their knowledge and skills to course participants.

We believe that every citizen has the right to knowledge and skills that will allow him to survive in difficult situations. That is why we are actively promoting initiatives to increase the public’s awareness of safety techniques and medical care in conditions of war.
